Easter Fluffy Chicks

Step 1.
Cut out the bottom of the egg carton, and add spike edges to look like a cracked egg
Step 2.
Paint the egg carton
Step #.
Cut out the chicks beak from the orange sheet of felt. Just a diamond shape,  which when folded over makes a beak.  Or a simple triangle
Step #.
Glue the moving eyes and the felt beak on to the large pom pom to form your cute lil chicks head.
Meet your fluffy friends in time for Easter. These guys are a fun way to spend the afternoon making, and to give away to friends

Popstick Easter Bunny

Step 1.
Stick two popsticks together using glue, or simply tape them on the back to stick together. Paint the front grey, and put aside to dry
Step 2.
Cut out your Bunny ears from the white Felt and add inner ear detail of pink. We simply drew ear shapes we liked and cut around them- approx 4-5cms in length. We then did the same for the Bunny Feet, shaping paws out of the oval white felt, and adding pink inner detail as shown in image.
Step 3.
Using the hot glue gun (mind you dont burn your fingers), glue the inner part of your Bunny Ears and Feet together, to have ready to add on to your Bunny friend.
Step 4.
Glue the Bunny ears on to the back of the popsticks, leaving room to show up top. And then add the Bunny Feet on to the bottom front of the popsticks
Step 5.
Still using the hot glue gun, glue on the moving eyes, positioned near the top of the pop sticks, and then add the medium size white Pom Poms and the small pink Pom Pom to form cheeks and bunnys mouth.

Easter Bunny Headband

Step 1.
Choose chenille stems in the colour you like. We chose white. Twist 3 together so they stay close to each other. Bend into a loop that will fit over your head like a headband.
Step 2.
Wrap some chenille stems around the ends to keep them together and so they feel soft behind your ears.
Step 3.
To make the ears, twist the chenille stems over the headband making a loop that looks like bunny ears.
Step 4.
Bend the top of the ears into points and adjust them to look cute!
Step 5.
Using the wire on the back of the flowers, twist these around the headband to make it look full of flowers. Make sure the wire is twisted so that it doesn’t stick into your head. Ouch!
Step 6.
Put as many flowers on to make it look full of flowers. Pop it on your head and enjoy being a beautiful Easter bunny!

Pom Pom Love Bugs

For this project you will require the following items:

  • Craft Workshop Pom Poms (mixed size & colour pack)
  • Craft Workshop Moving Eyes (small size)
  • Craft Workshop Chenille Stems (pipe cleaners)
  • Craft Workshop Hot Glue Gun
  • Craft Workshop Felt Sheets
  • Craft Workshop Heart Self-stick Gems
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors

Step 1.
Whilst the hot glue gun warms up, start to prepare your Love Bug pieces. Cut out small heart shapes from the felt sheet, around 4cm in length, to create the feet for the large pom poms. We used colours to suit the Valentines Love theme. Then cut the chenille sticks to length for the antennae- approx 4-5cm.
Step 2.
Using the hot glue gun, stick the large pom pom to the felt heart shaped feet to create the bugs body.
Step 3.
Continue to use the hot glue gun to glue the eyes on to the pom pom body, or the end of the chenille sticks. We also glued small pom poms on to the end of the chenille sticks. Get creative with how you decorate your Love Bug.
Step 4.
Glue the Chenille stick/antennae on to the body of your love bug.
Step 5.
Finally, have fun and get decorating! We used CW adhesive rhinestones to decorate our lil love bug friends!
Step 5.
These lil buddies make great Valentines friendship gifts.
