This project requires the following resources:
- White felt
- Pink felt
- Egg carton
- Paint brush
- Hot glue gun
- Moving eyes
- Pom pom
Cut out the bottom of an empty egg carton for the body of the eastern bunny.
Apply the first layer of paint on the Easter bunny’s body. It’s best to use white, grey brown or black for this layer but any colour you have will work. Set aside to dry.
Cut out some felt triangles for your bunny’s ears. Use white felt for the outer ear and pink felt for the inner ear. Glue these two triangles together using the hot glue gun.
Take the large white pom pom, and using the hot glue gun, attach the googly eyes. This will be your bunny’s face! Glue the ears to the back of the pom pom and then attach the head to the body.
Now that the first layer of paint on you bunny’s body is try, apply the second layer. This colour is the colour you want your bunny to be. Rabbits are often white, grey, brown or black, but don’t let this limit your imagination! Your Easter bunny could be neon pink or bright green!
